Tropical Bottling Company NV was founded in 1948 as a soft drink company in Aruba. It was the first company that produced and distributed sodas on the island. The first establishment was in the Ritz building where the soft drinks were produced, but due to lack of space it moved to L.G. Smith Boulevard at the carry out Oranjestad. In the late nineties, tropical bottling company merged with its sister company Brouwerij Nacional Balashi NV and the new establishment was situated in the district of Balashi.
Tropical Bottling Company is a full-scale bottling company, one of the most modern in the Caribbean. The product facility has a fully automated, high-tech plant which guarantees production against the highest sustainability standards, ensuring a consistently high quality of products.
Today, the company is thriving and is recognized as the largest industrial company in the beverage industrial sector. Tropical Bottling Company is the official bottler of the Coca-Cola portfolio, distributor of the Bacardi and Monster Energy portfolio’s as well as the beer portfolio consisting of Balashi, Chill, HopiBon and HopiStout that are brewed by Brouwerij Nacional Balashi.
